Trying to find part time jobs in London could have you feeling a little tired because it’s a very lage place with so many different things that you could try, it’s difficult to know where to start.

I have put down a couple of experiences of my own to help you in quickly achieving the perfect part time job in London.

First you need a plan. Get a sheet of scrap paper or notepad, and copy and paste the following questions into it and try and answer them:

Approximately how many hours do you want to work ?
During what time of the day and week are you willing to do the work ?
How far are you able to travel to get to work ?
What are your limits in the type of work you are willing to do ?

Now that you have answered these questions you should have an improved idea about your hours of work and type of work you can do, now we can go ahead with the process of considering different types of work to get paid for doing in the city of London.

I’ve jotted down a couple of part time jobs you can consider:

1. Completing tasks in a bar serving drinks.
2. Performing general kitchen duties, like washing and cleaning, preparing foods
3. Working at the front of a restaurant as a waiter or waitress
4. Performing duties in a warehouse packing goods into parcels
5. Doing jobs on a till in a local supermarket
6. Performing duties for a takeaway
7. Handing out fliers for a night club or bar promoter
8. Performing duties at a shop, restaurant, private home or office

Take your pick from the list above, or consider your own ideas and jot them down on your notepad.

The next step is to get the Job, I will now proceed with my final nugget of guidance on this topic.

The best way of obtaining a part time job, in my opinion is to spend an entire day travelling around london and personally asking the owner of a business about them having a job on offer. To be well presented on this occassion is a tiny gesture and by far not a waste of your time. The next thing that you should do is to have a sheet of paper, which contains a professionaly printed Name and Address, and your contact details, Don’t worry about a full CV, just a bonus that you leave with a restaurant owner or bar owner. You may be competing with other individuals for this job and to have a copy of your sheet with your contact details. This will give you an better chance.

This face to face approach also served me well when I was seeking for a part time job in London. I was finally using the same plan to do jobs in a student kitchen cooking pizzas part time.

I hope that you achieve this goal of finding some great part time jobs in london to select from and I wish you the best of luck and good fortune.
