If you want your web page to perform well on the organic search engine rankings, then you should definately not forget to setup your meta tags. These are special codes which are used by some search engines and web spiders to discover the topic of your web page. If you do not have meta tags then you are not embracing the world wide web in it’s truest form. Although Google and Yahoo will still happilly index your site without meta tags, you should not forget about all the other robots and spiders that will use the tags.

On my travels across the world wide web I have discovered a great free metatag generator for windows computers. This software is called Metty and is a favourite of mine because it is very small and can be downloaded free of charge. It is also very easy to use, anybody can create the perfect meta tag using this metatag generator.

The software supports all of the meta tags including meta expires, and meta pragma tags, you could then utilise meta name verify tools to ensure that you have pasted the meta tag into the correct location of the html document.

Metty can be utilised  to provide meta tag noindex instructions to the robot or spider. Apple mac users should note that the use of iweb metatags is universal and identical to the meta tags used across any platform. In other words you can use the normal meta tags on iweb.
