It appears that the people of London are searching more and more for jobs specifically located in London. Recent research suggests that 3 major terms are not being optimised for by the recruitment and employment agencies and there is room to capitalise on searchers looking for live in jobs London, and weekend jobs in London.
I regularly monitor search trends as part of my marketing efforts and recently I have noticed a vast increase in job searches in London, the following metrics reveal the daily number of searches being carried out in relation to jobs in general.
Some further analysis shows me that the results that are coming back out of google are not satisfying the people who are performing the searches. A look at the top 10 competing pages for the keyword ‘driver jobs london‘ returns the following:
It appears that there is a lack of competition for these search terms because none of them have more than 20000 competing websites which means I can get my hands on literally thousands of daily hits as you can see from the above chart. A more competitive SEO market usually has in excess of 10 million competing sites.
The largest segment within the search market being ‘part time jobs london‘ with over 49K daily searches.
In light of this I will be performing some further analysis into monetisation of this traffic and then I will begin some marketing efforts to establish an online presence that beats the competition and brings in a lot of traffic. I will be recording some videos which illustrate how I approach the entire challenge.
